Knowledge contest held to celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the CPC
To celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Institute of Biophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) held a CPC-related knowledge contest on July 9.
Eleven Party branches participated in the contest, which was attended by Wang Hongyan, secretary of the Party committee of the Institute of Biophysics, and other leaders.
The contest included contents from 25 documents that should be learned by Party members and Party organizations at all levels. After several competition rounds the Party branch teams of the scientific research platform, the key laboratory of the School of Nucleic Acid Biology and other groups won the awards.
In a speech Wang said that the knowledge contest was an effective way to verify whether communists have mastered knowledge related to the Party constitution, Party discipline and Party regulations. The contest was of great significance as part of a series of activities to commemorate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the CPC.
Wang urged Party branches of the Institute of Biophysics to plan their key tasks of the second half of the year based on their scientific research and responsibilities. The shared mission of all Party members of the Institute of Biophysics should be making it a leader in national scientific innovation through their joint efforts.
All the Party members will remain true to their original aspiration and keep their mission firmly in mind. The contest rekindled their passion for learning and enhanced their understanding of the Party constitution, Party discipline and Party regulations.
They said that they will always fight for scientific innovation at the Institute of Biophysics.
