The Institute of Biophysics considers that “Talent is our most precious resource” and that establishing a highly qualified and innovative science and technology team by “Introducing talent from abroad and training talent at home” is the best strategy for strengthening the Institute.

Currently, the institute has 514 faculty and staff, 518 graduate students, 50 post-doctoral fellows, and 40 visiting scholars. In this research team, there are 10 CAS Members and 5 TWAS Members. Among the 72 principal investigators, 6 have been supported by the national “QIANRENJIHUA” program, 15 have received “National Outstanding Young Scientists” awards, 5 have been supported by the national “Young QIANRENJIHUA” program, and 38 have been supported by the CAS “BAIRENJIHUA” program.
