Research Interests

In recent years, our group is concentrating on structural and functional analysis of biomacromolecules by use of structural biology approaches, with particular emphasis on the following aspects:

Our overall research goal is to determine the 3D-structure of these proteins, in conjugation with functional studies to decipher their molecular mechanisms and provide structure basis for the drug development for neurodegenerative diseases, cancer and metabolic disorders.

(1) Structual and function studies of neurotrophin, neurotrophin receptors and other cell surface receptors .

(2) Studies of DNA damage responses proteins and protein complexes .

(3) Structural analysis of enzymes related to the synthesis and metabolism of bioactive small moleclues.
