Delegation from ThermoFisher Scientific, Analytical Instruments (the Former FEI) Visited IBP
On 13th Oct., 2016, the Director General, Prof. XU Tao met with the Delegation from ThermoFisher Scientific, Analytical Instruments (the Former FEI), which was led by President Michael Shafer.
Prof. XU Tao introduced IBP and reviewed the past collaboration with FEI and ThermoFisher Scientific. He hoped that both sides could grow to be collaborative partners in a higher level and could establish cooperation on the construction of the National Core Facility for Biological Imaging in the near future.
President Michael Shafer introduced ThermoFisher Scientific Analytical Instruments and mentioned the fact that FEI was integrated into ThermoFisher Scientific recently. He pointed out that ThermoFisher Scientific put great emphasis on the collaboration with IBP, believed that both sides will have an extended cooperation platform, and promised the previous IBP-FEI contracts would still work.
Prof. SUN Fei introduced CBI and expressed his appreciation of the FEI support to IBP over the past ten years. He hoped the further cooperation with ThermoFisher Scientific would promote the innovation and productivity of IBP.
Others attending the meeting included Prof. YANG Fuquan, Prof. ZHU Ping, Prof. ZHANG Xinzheng, and Head of Office of Science and Technology, Dr. XU Hang.
After the meeting, Prof. SUN Fei showed the delegation around IBP and CBI.
