Research Interests: The neural circuitry basis and therapeutic approaches for depression; the origins and neural circuitry basis of social reward; the impact of postnatal stress on susceptibility to stress in adulthood and its molecular and circuitry mechanisms; changes in hormone and neuropeptide receptors resulting from prolonged social and environmental stress and their functions.
