The major research focuses on pathogen infection and host immune response. By means of structural biology (X-ray and cryo-electron microscopy) combined with biochemistry and cell biology, we are trying to explore the molecular mechanisms of pathogen infection and host immunity, as well as design novel drug and biological tools.
