- Research Interests
1. Glycoproteins of enveloped virus determine viral entry into host cells and host tropism, which is an important target for therapeutics development. Investigating the structure information of virus glycoprotein in receptor recognition and membrane fusion, should help to understand the virus entry mechanism and develop effective vaccine and drugs.
2. The host immune system deploys a variety of proteins to defense pathogen invasion. Structural and functional study of these proteins and related protein complexes would help to uncover the mechanism of host immune response and the regulatory role of virus protein to escape the host immune attack.
