Special research assistant (post-doctor) positions are available in Dr. Xu Tao's group at IBP, CAS
Under the auspices of the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Outstanding Research Program, two outstanding special research assistants (post-doctors) are needed at the research team of academician Xu Tao.
Xu Tao is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Academy of Sciences for the Developing World, researcher and doctoral tutor of the Institute of Biophysics (IBP), as well as the professor and deputy president of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is also winner of Chang Jiang Scholars, the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars.
Xu's research team has long been committed to the research of diabetes pathogenesis and the development of personalized diagnosis and treatment programs. They have published many influential research papers in internationally renowned journals such as Cell, Nature Neuroscience, Nature Methods, Cell Metabolism, and PNAS.
Requirements
1.Interested and experienced in one of the researches including pathogenesis of diabetes, functions of islet beta cells, three-dimensional cultivation of organoids and cells, microRNA, and intracellular transport.
2.Have possessed or will soon obtain a doctor's degree in cytobiology, Biochemistry and molecular biology, cell biophysics, medicine and related fields.
3.Has published academic papers in renowned international journals and has good academic potential.
4.Has good English proficiency, and has the ability to write academic papers and communicate in English.
5.Be able to work independently, be responsible and have strong team spirit.
6.Be healthy.
