Faculty Positions (Principal Investigator) at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences
Founded in 1958, the Institute of Biophysics (IBP), Chinese Academy of Sciences is a national leading institution for biological research. It now has three national key laboratories, namely, biomacromolecules, epigenetic regulation and intervention, and cognitive science and mental health, and the Huairou Biointelligence Multidisciplinary Center.
We now invite young and established researchers to apply for several positions at the Principal Investigator level. IBP is interested in candidates in the fields of biochemistry, cell biology, structural biology, cognitive neuroscience, neurobiology, infection and immunobiology, non-coding nucleic acid biology, epigenetics and genomics, biomedical engineering, biological imaging. Applicants in the following areas are particularly encouraged:
State Key Laboratory of Biomacromolecules:
Membrane Biophysics: Subcellular Structure, Function, and Biomechanics/Mechanobiology; Protein Directed Evolution and De Novo Design; Live-Cell Super-Resolution Microscopy Imaging Technology; In Situ Cryo-Electron Microscopy Methodology and Applications; Dynamic Structural Analysis and Time-Resolved Methods for Biomacromolecules; Adjuvant Immunology (Interdisciplinary Studies of Materials Chemistry and Immunology).
State Key Laboratory of Epigenetic Regulation and Intervention:
Epigenome Editing; Epigenetic Regulation of Development and Immunity; RNA Imaging.
