Original and Systematic Development of Fundamental Basic Theories Concerning Cognitive Science
The CAS Institute of Biophysics has founded a theory of topological perception in the initial stage, undertaken systematic research and development of topological structure and functional layers of visual perception with a "global-first" approach, and proposed a definition of topology, which is a basic unit in cognitive science. Its question about what are the basic units in cognition has posed a challenge to the predominant theory, which stresses a "regional-first" approach in topology.
