Research on Non-coding RNA

Updated: 2020-07-04

The CAS Institute of Biophysics has become a pioneer in the research of non-coding RNA in China. It is the first research institute in the world to successfully construct a bi-chromatic regulation network composed of a traditional network of protein regulation and a newly emergent non-coding RNA regulation network. In addition, the institute has set up a NONCODE database, which has been integrated with non-coding RNA and its genes and is the first domestic database accepted by the Database International Alliance, and developed several other databases such as NPInter which explains the interactive relations between non-coding RNA and major molecules.
