The research team of Professor Wang Jiangyun at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, has been engaged in the study of synthetic biology and chemical biology.
It is now seeking one or two post doctoral fellows, an assistant researcher and an associate researcher. The topics of their research at the Institute of Biophysics include green chemistry, chemical synthesis of enzymatic catalysis, enzyme engineering and its directed evolution; the institutional transduction of receptor signals such as G-protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs); biosense and the self-assembly of biomacromolecules; protein, the site labeling and imaging of biomacromolecules, with RNA included.
A highly competitive salary and benefits package will be granted in accordance with regulations of the CAS Institute of Biophysics.
Job descriptions and qualifications
1) Be highly enthusiastic about scientific research, active in and responsible for work; and take a serious attitude towards science.
2) Have a Ph.D degree in the fields of organic chemistry, structural biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology; have high-level publications of research papers in internationally academic journals; and be able to conduct scientific research independently
3) Boast strong writing skills in Chinese and English; and excel in communications.
4) Possess the spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
