Positions are available in the research team of Professor Yu Yang at the Institute of Biophysics, CAS
The main research area of Professor Yu Yang's research group at the Institute of Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences is the molecular mechanism and biological function of non-coding RNA in regulating heterochromatin during early embryonic development and germ cell differentiation.
The team is now seeking post-doctoral fellows and one assistant or associate researcher. A highly competitive salary and benefits package will be granted depending on the applicant’s research background and experience. The specific skills required are as follows.
Responsibilities and requirements
1. 2-3 post-doctoral fellows:
1) Be enthusiastic about biological research, be active in and responsible for their work; and take a serious attitude towards science.
2) Have a Ph.D degree in the fields of bioinformatics, cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, reproductive biology, developmental biology and other related fields; have high-level publications of research papers in international academic journals; and be able to conduct scientific research independently.
3) Boast strong writing skills in Chinese and English; and excel in communications.
4) Possess a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
2. One assistant researcher or associate researcher:
1) Be enthusiastic about biological research, be active in and responsible for their work; and take a serious attitude towards science.
