The Zhao Yan Lab at the Institute of Biophysics (IBP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) specializes in research of structure and function of membrane protein using methods of structural biology and biochemistry.

We now invite applications for research positions including one associate and two special research assistants (post-doctors). Special research assistants will receive merit-based compensation and benefits in accordance with the newest CAS policies. This recruitment takes effect immediately and will stay valid until the above-mentioned positions are filled.

Requirements

Applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:

1. Applicants should hold or are expected to obtain doctoral degrees in related areas including biochemistry, molecular biology, and biophysics;

2. Applicants should have relevant background in structural biology. Prior experience with cryo-EM is preferred;

3. Dedication for research work, a strong sense of responsibilities, a good team spirit and proficient bilingual skills are expected.
