High Speed Spinning Disk Confocal Fluorescence Microscope - Marinas SDCM XL is composed of Zeiss Axio observer Z1 Inverted Microscope, four lasers of 405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm and 640 nm, a movable lens in the imaging path allows for spherical abberation correction (SAC), two objectives of 40X/oil and 100X/oil, Yokogawa CSU-X1 Spinning Disk Unit. The instrument is equipped with three set of optical path such as confocal imaging, total internal reflection imaging, and UV light bleaching light activation (FRAP). The Marinas SDCM XL can achieve a variety of fluorescence imaging function via automatically switch and combination among three sets of optical path. For example, it can be used for observation of multidimensional high-speed living cells (such as calcium sparks, vesicle transport). Moreover, the Marinas SDCM XL can do light bleaching and light activation at confocal or TIRF mode. Technical Support: Yan Teng (010-64839984, tengyan@moon.ibp.ac.cn)
