Flow cytometry is a actuate equipment to measure fluorescence signal generated by cells. The purity of cell selection is above 99% with characteristics of a high flux, a high sensitivity and a high accuracy. | | Flow Cytometry | Calibur | Flow cytometry can measure many parameters, such as, cell morphology, antigen on the cell's surface and internal cells. Proteins interaction with a immuno-fluorescence protein phosphonation, verify intact cells, cell membrane's fluid characteristics, membrane's fusion and membrane inside out, cell membrane electrical potential, cell plasma Ca2+, and cell plasma pH value, Cell skeleton component, amount of DNA and RNA, chromosomal nuclei analysis and chromosome monomer selectivity. The flow cytometry group has four equipments, Influx and FACS AriaII, and two FACS Calibur. There are two major applications to the flow cytometry instruments, high throughput single cell fluorescence quantification, and high speed cell sorting with high purity. The FACS Calibur flow cytometry is the high speed fluorescence detecting instrument with 4 laser excitation. It can detect the flowing single cell with high throughput. Both the FACSAriaII and Influx flow cytometry are the high speed cell sorting platform, as the FACSAriaII with 3 laser excitation and 9 fluorescence channels and the Influx with 7 laser and 24 fluorescence channels. Both the instruments has two major application, as single cell fluorescence quantification with high throughput and cell sorting with high speed and purity.
