The State Key Laboratory of Brain & Cognitive Sciences was established at the Institute of Biophysics in March 2005. The Laboratory focuses on the core events in visual perception, and carries out innovative systematic research at multiple evolutionary, cognitive, and disciplinary levels. It is committed to constructing a brain and cognitive sciences platform utilizing ultra-high field magnetic resonance imaging and other imaging methods.
